It’s the same laser as in the first video,I just made myself an aluminum casing for it so it actually looks like a laser pointer.
around 75-100 mW I guess, 650 nm wavelength

This is great software. You can use this for family video’s/Photo’s,Home movies, Or backup.
When you simply drag and drop an AVI,MP3,MP4,MOV,WMV,ect into a dvd to burn it will not autoplay, Because the dvd thinks of it as a Computer file. Not as a DVD file. Hope this helps!!!!

This floppy disk burn through is another example of what a 140mW red (8X DVD burner) laser diode can do focused to a few mils at a close range. Measured for this test at 84mW @ 650nm. My old slim NEC firewire dvd burner stopped working.
So I bought a Samsung SE-S084C.
Its 8 speed, Mac friendly, RoHS.
Low price, no power pack needed as it uses 2 usb ports.
The sound created when burning is not too bad.
Shop around some great price differences on this unit
