I don’t mind paying money for a good device and software. I am considering buying a VCR and DVD player/burner but dont know how well they work or which models are the best. Also if there is a device to connect my VCR to my computer which is the best. I have been looking at so many items online and some of them seem to have bad reviews so I was hoping to use the collective experience of Yahootopia to help me.
This is for my camcorder recorded home movies not Hollywood movies so copyright is not an issue.

You could buy just a normal DVD recorder and plug in your video player with AV plugs – that’s what we do.
Go into the shop, find some models you like and write down the model number. Then look them up on the internet and see if they have good reviews. If the price is right and it sounds good, go for it!
Connecting it to the PC is a little fiddly, but you can usually get an adaptor or something.
